Default Klayout 64 bit - crash on startup

    Hello,

the Klayout 64bit program in OpenSUSE 13.1 and 13.2 cannot be started as it crashes immediately reporting a crash due to ruby.
It happens with the rpm from the OpenSUSE Education repository (version 0.23.9) as well as with my own compile from the sources.

The problem has been already reported here:
    http://klayout.de/forum/comments.php?DiscussionID=553
Proposed solution (remove 64bit version of Klayout and install 32bit instead) solves the problem.

Can you please fix the problem on OpenSUSE?

    Greetings, Petr

If you want someone to look at this who is in a position to do something about it, you need to submit to the bugzilla, posts to these forums don't always result in action
    http://bugzilla.opensuse.org

Based on the reference you linked, it's likely a fairly elementary app path issue, changing to accommodate the path to the openSUSE libraries location.
