Default googl's pdf viewer in Chromium

does anyone know if there is a version of libpdf for chromium, google released it's code under a BSD license
    https://code.google.com/p/pdfium/
I tried a win32 build of chromium and it had libpdf.dll, a google search revealed that some Linux distro's have started shipping chromium with the pdf viewer
what I am asking is do the openSUSE's chromium packages contain libpdf and if they do what version beta 40 or dev 41?
I tried the stable it doesn't have the plugin I don't want to install the beta and the dev packages just to see if a package has the plugin?

I found a version on an extra repo
    http://software.opensuse.org/package...ium-pdf-plugin
it would be cool if it was part of the official OSS repository seeing as now it comes with a BSD license

    I have chromium installed.

I have also installed "chromium-pdf-plugin" which is in the packman repo. I think that is what you are looking for.

    The file list mentions "/usr/lib64/chromium/libpdf.so".

I did a search on packman's site it redirected me to http://packman.links2linux.org/packa...m-pepper-flash
as far as I can tell there is no http://packman.links2linux.org/packa...ium-pdf-plugin

I should use zypper more, there is an updated chromium-pdf-plugin on packman but software.opensuse.org does not search packman and packman doesn't have a page for that package so a websearch there gives 0 results, still as the main OSS repo does carry chromium and pepper-flash they should carry the pdf plugin.

    tanks for the info

I used search in Yast software management.

I see chromium-pepper-flash in packman, rather than in the main OSS repo.

As I understand it, this (the repo used) has to do with licensing issues.
