    Hi,

    check the version of the flash plugin. The new chrome-version AFAIK doesn't work with firefox.
    If this is the case, you have two options:

    - use chromium
    - downgrade to the old standard flash plugin

    Happy new year,
    Hendrik

    now I can be more clear and specific :-)
    on my laptop with opensuse 13.2, kde 4.14.3, kernel 3.16.7-7.desktop

    flash-player - Adobe Flash Plugin and Standalone Player
    Version:11.2.202.425-2.17.1
    vendor: openSUSE

    MozillaFirefox - Browser web Mozilla Firefox
    Version:34.0.5-5.4
    vendorpenSUSE

    MozillaFirefox-branding-openSUSE - Personalizzazione grafica di openSUSE per Mozilla Firefox
    Version:21-4.1.2

    if I open youtube or click on a movie this advice appear:
    asking to reload the page
    (the same movie can be viewed with firefox version 34.0.5-50.3 and flash player 11.2.202.425-82.1 so could be also firefox)
    reloading the page nothing change

    manythanx, :-) ciao :-) pier

    On my old 32Bit-only laptop I use exactly the same versions as you (beside the German localization) and I can view Youtube videos without problems.
    So it might be something different. Which kind of graphics card and which driver do you use?

    you could try the npapi wrapper for pepper flash
    http://packman.links2linux.org/packa...shplayerplugin from packman's repo
    I'm not really sure when I installed it but it works with adobe's lattes flash player 16.0.0.235
    I didn't notice any rendering lag, I've tried it on youtube and a few local tv sites all flash plays fine.

    if you have packman's reposetory you can install it with zypper

    sudo zypper in freshplayerplugin chromium-pepper-flash

    I'd like to see chromium's pepper pdf viewer run in the fox too

    I was thinking you might link a video that doesn't play, if it's not inappropriate

    My details:
    Flash - 11.2.202.425-2.17.1.x86_64
    FFox - 34.0.5-5.4.x86_64

    opensuse 13.2, kde 4.14.3, kernel 3.16.7-7.desktop
    processor=AMD E1-1200 APU
    MHz=1400
    RAM=1.6Gb
    graphics=AMD Radeon HD 7310
    Graphics driver=ATI from opensuse community ATI driver repository

    on this laptop with:
    firefox 34.0.5-5.4 and 33.0-2.1 (the 34.0.5 on another laptop with opensuse 13.1 works)
    flash-player - Adobe Flash Plugin and Standalone Player 11.2.202.425-2.17.1
    this movie cannot be viewed:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j4Sk_15Ky5w
    and appear this error

    with chrome and chromium it can be viewed

    chromium-pepper-flash - Chromium Flash player plugin 16.0.0.235-2.1 is already installed
    but I don't know how firefox can use it instead of flashplayer
