Can Genymotion be installed on openSUSE?

Genymotion’s site claims you need Ubuntu or Debian, but can the “.bin” be correctly installed on openSUSE?

Yes, it works fine on openSUSE. I use it myself.

hola,

unable to load virtualbox engine.

sabes cual podría ser el problema.

Muchas gracias.

Doesn’t work for me.
I have Leap 42.2 and downloaded Genymotion on https://www.genymotion.com/download/
I then installed it with :

 sh genymotion-2.8.1_x64.bin

but it crashes as soon as I start the app.
Not that it matters, Virtualbox works fine.

Any idea ?

This is the error I get when starting it from the terminal :

./genymotion: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib64/libX11.so.6: undefined symbol: xcb_wait_for_reply64

I ran into this myself, actually - I don’t recall the fix, but a Google
search on the error with “genymotion” should find it.
