Default 13.2 x64 RC1 booting slowly. Want to know what's going on before filing a bug.

Incidentally, my PCI based WiFi isn't connecting anymore either.

    Sure, it is still seen.

On one computer, factory is slow starting. It doesn't seem to affect other computers.

It looks to me as if it is the network (i.e. "wicked"). Instead of just initiating network start, it looks as if "systemd" is holding up other parts of startup until the network is up. I'm not sure why, as nothing much depends (other than user activity). I even reconfigured so that the network card would start "on cable connect" instead of "at boot time" but that did not make very much difference.

That bland gray unanimated "Plymouth" splash only exacerbates the problem, because it sure gives the appearance that nothing is happening for a long time.

Nope. Not being seen. Looks like there are substantial hangs on starting firewall and especially Modem Manager.

I am also experiencing slow boot time on my laptop (fresh install of 13.2 RC1 after a failed upgrade attempt )
Hope it gets fixed in RC2/13.2

Only if you tell the devs.

Hint: we are not the devs.

My laptop with an HP SSD hybrid disk, which has been updated via factory continually, boots lighting fast including network manager which was setup at the install config.

My desktop, with an SSD, with a fresh install, booted lighting fast until I switched to network manager from the install config of "Wicked" -- added a couple seconds. Pauses until it gets the config right with my loaded wifi/ext modem.

Maybe I'll leave "Wicked" at the next full install (although I don't like the red X showing on my desktop network Icon which I got even with ext).
