    Default Gimp and Insane Bump

I have found good and free normal map generator plugin for Gimp. It is made for Ubuntu linux ver. 12.10 (64 bit). From registry.gim.org. Does it works under Opensuse 13.1 with gimp 2.8?
should i install any extra libraries or files?
