Thumbs up Re: Desktop Problem during 13.1 updates

OK! Here's the uname -a output:

    Code:
    Linux linux-ppnb 3.11.10-17-desktop #1 SMP PREEMPT Mon Jun 16 15:28:13 UTC 2014 (fba7c1f) x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
and Kinfocenter agrees with it. I now have the latest kernel running. Super!

Ok, then the fglrx driver is out of the question anyway, as it doesn't support your card.

I hope everything works fine now, right?

Everything as far as what I've checked seems to be fine. Although, my desktop seems to have experienced the equivalent of "vapor-lock" which disappeared for some reason. I'm guessing that what my desktop experienced was the symptom of an incomplete system update. Good for others to know.

    Thanks for all your help!
