Thread: Where have all the 12.1 repositories gone?

    Default Where have all the 12.1 repositories gone?

    Hi,

    I have an old server based on openSUSE 12.1 which has done sterling service for years (and I REALLY don't want to upgrade).
    When I started looking into why ClamAV was not being kept up-to-date, I noted that none of 12.1 repos were anywhere to be found?

    Can anyone tell me what is happening?

    Regards, Martin

    That 12.1 is not maintained, since long ago, and the repos are thus
    deleted to conserve resources.

    You have to upgrade.

    martinprowe;

    You can find repos for discontinued versions of openSUSE here:

    http://ftp5.gwdg.de/pub/opensuse/dis.../distribution/
    and
    http://ftp5.gwdg.de/pub/opensuse/discontinued/update/

    Of course these are no longer maintained and simply reflect the repos when the version was discontinued. If you need
    newer versions of a package, you need to build it yourself. For ClamAV, grab the spec file for a newer version and it
    should still build.
