    Default error refreshing repo and opensuse keeps looking for install media after install finished

    brand new opensuse (13.1 KDE) user.. used ubuntu for years getting errors trying to add some repos and codecs

    here is error I am getting

    bigfry:~ # zypper ref
    Repository 'libdvdcss' is up to date.
    Empty destination in URI: hd:///?device=/dev/disk/by-id/scsi-1........................1.00-part2

    Abort, retry, ignore? [a/r/i/? shows all options] (a): r
    Empty destination in URI: hd:///?device=/dev/disk/by-id/scsi-1........................1.00-part2

    can't refresh this repo after adding.

    Something silly I am doing wrong here? Seems like opensuse still looks for the install media occasionally as well (4 gig USB)??

    You used a particular disk (or USB) as a repo at one time. And that USB is not plugged in.

    Yast --> Software Repositories

    Find the repo (look for that "hd:"). Uncheck the "enable" box.

    That should take care of the problem.
