    Default Apache2 missing from yast2-runlevel

Hi all, I'm hoping someone out there might have an idea of what's causing this, so far Google has not yelled any useful results. I've just installed the latest version of apache2 on openSUSE 13.1. I've also got the yast2-runlevel module installed. Previously when I have done this apache2 has automatically appeared in the run-level list and I have been able to control it from there. However, this time apache2 has not appeared in the runlevel list.

If i look in the yast services manager I can see apache2 and I can manually start and stop there service using rcapache2 start/stop. So it's not a major issue more of just an annoyance and means I have to re-write some of our companies how to documents, which mention setting the service to run at boot time from the runlevel settings in yast. That is unless I'm missing something and I've forgotten to do something so that apache2 appears in the runlevel list.

Using YaST > System > Services Manager, apache2 is at the top of the list. I do not know why you intstalled the depricated YaST Runlevel module, it works with sysvinit and not with systemd.

I also am not clear about what you mean with " I've just installed the latest version of apache2". Do you mean another version then the one that comes with openSUSE 13.1. When that is the case, you better explain what you installed from where and how, else how would we know what you did? And of course when you installed outside the openSUSE way of doing things, be prepared for things working in a different way.

All I meant about the latest version was that I installed apache from the standard online repository rather than the one that comes with the openSUSE install media. I still installed it using yast. As for using the YaST Runlevel module I guess I was just use to using it so defaulted to it rather than the Services Manager.

Time for me to come out of the dark ages I think (and update that documentation).
