Hi, i recently install Suse 13.1, i have had an older linux server before but this new one is giving me trouble...

i cant seem to connect to it with ftp, ssh, and i cant see the "it works" page when i put the p in a browser, i have used Yast to allow ftp, ssh, http but i still cant connect to it....the ip address 174.3.56.167 can be pinged, i can surf from the server with firfox, its what im using to post this, it been driving me nuts for days now, please can someone show the idiot what he is doing wrong ( idiot is me)...lol
