    Question Host Name Changed?!?

My terminal prompt (hostname?) has changed to @dhcppc1, it is set to E325 in YaST. I was running some commands in terminal to troubleshoot non starting Steam client, not sure how this happened?

Perhaps unchecking this checkbox in yast will solve it:
yast -> network settings -> hostname/dns tab -> change hostname via DHCP

Just posting to agree with Quantumboredom.

I sometimes see that happen on the first boot after install. So I uncheck that box in network settings, and it never happens again.

I remember unchecking in the dim distant past but Tumbleweed musta updated a network package & defaults reset? A logical explanation no doubt, beats the immediate panic of being hacked!

    Cheerz!
