Default Can't change user without logout [GNOME]

    Hello,

    I have a problem in multi-user mode (init 5) on a 13.1 x86_64 release.

I have a blank screen when switching user. In order to be able to switch user need to logout the first session.

    Here is the /var/log/messages
    Code:

Seems that driver NOUVEAU doesn't allow to switch and restore login screen.

    Any idea ?
    Thanks

I'm not clear on what you are doing there. I doubt that your problem has to do with nouveau.

If this happened just after doing some updates, then reboot and try again.

Normally, a systemd user mode process is started for your login. And that seems to be involved in authentication. However, if there is an update to systemd since you logged in, that might not work properly.

    Hi,

I already need to reboot in order to have user choice in gdm.

I didn't have any update installed in between.

Maybe nouveau is crashing when switching VTs or something like that.

What graphics card do you have?
I would suggest to try the proprietary nvidia driver if your card is supported:

Hm, is the nvidia driver in use/working?
Please install the package "Mesa-demo-x" and post the output of:
    Code:
    glxinfo | grep render
Do you have the same problem when booting to recovery mode? ("Advanced Options" in the boot menu)

Is the problem there when using a different Login Manager?
Edit the file /etc/sysconfig/displaymanager and set DISPLAYMANAGER="xdm" as a test f.e.
