Default Power Management issue on openSUSE 13.1

the default kde power management was working fine until it stopped responding to low battery events, laptop would abruptly poweroff after draining all the power even though the settings were correct in management.
It seem to have started after some updates, don't remember. Neither it would dim the screen when battery reaches low level and sometime even if there's plentyful charge left, it would behave like low battery.
P.S. - laptop battery capacity is fine.

Same problem here, I have 3 different laptops with different configurations which all have the same problem, I reported the bug a few months ago, they are working on it, I hope.
