    Default openSUSE 13.1 Logs Out Automatically

    Hi!

    I have this persistent problem. I use openSUSE 13.1 Gnome, and it just randomly logs out:

    heres the xorg.0.log output from /var/log/:

    ...if it shines any light. Any help is really nice.

    Using Intel integrated card (Mobile Intel® GM45 Express Chipset ).

    Maybe it helps?

    Great, wolfi323! That's exactly what i've been looking for. I'll bookmark it in case it reoccurs. It did work back in december, but i thought the updates to the interl driver sorted it out. Anyway, thanks!

    There have not been any updates to the intel driver since December, at least not in the standard update repo.

    From the changelog:
    Code:
    * Sun Dec 01 2013 hrvoje.senjan@gmail.com
    - U_sna-Add-the-missing-braces-around-the-conditional-bl.patch:
      fixes regression from 2.99.906 release (fdo#71605, bnc#853085)

    * Sat Nov 30 2013 hrvoje.senjan@gmail.com
    - U_sna_correct_handling_of_cropped_images.patch:
      Fix X crashes triggered by wrong handling of cropped
      XvImages (bnc#852531)

    * Wed Nov 27 2013 tiwai@suse.de
    - U_sna-Process-Damage-relative-to-dst-pDrawable-not-its.patch:
      Fix corrupted output with Emacs and others (bnc#852620)
    So the latest update has been submitted on Dec. 1st.

    Whether the SNA acceleration works or has problems is highly chipset-specific though. I haven't experienced any issues with it yet on my intel system (945G chipset/GMA 950 graphics). But I'm using KDE, not GNOME (might make a difference as well).
