    Default Import IPhone5 Videos ?

    Opensuse 12.3
    KDE 4.10.5 r1

I took a bunch of videos of my wife at her 2nd golf lesson and we would like to watch them on my PC rather than on the tiny screen of the IPhone.
Is there a way to do this ? I did a google search and it led me to Picard which was no help.
Ideally I would like to be able to view them on our 60" samsung smart TV, which is networked but I am not optimistic as to being able to do this.
I do have a Netbook which I could direct connect to the TV via USB if that is of any use.
I tried directly plugging the IPhone into the TV and the TV saw the phone but it was looking for still photos, not videos. Even then it did not display them.

What else do you need to know ?

    thanks
    openSUSE 13.2

If you search for ipod in Yast Software Management, there are some apps for the ipod. I don't have an ipod, so I do not know if what you are looking for is there, but you might check.
