Thread: Firefox update

    Default Firefox update

    Losing my marbles?

Yesterday, the software update service provided me with a new version of Firefox. It is something of a jump in functionality and presentation and creates an excellent impression.....but...

I cannot find 'About Firefox' button, nor a 'Help' menu item, nor even a button to redirect me to a Mozilla webpage, so that I could lodge my question there. Am I losing my marbles?

(Obviously, I can look in Yast Software Management for the Firefox version, but is that really the intention?)

Somebody, please point me in the right direction.

Right click on the top area, where the tabs appear. Click on "menu bar".
You get the traditional menu on top. There is "help", and "about" inside.

    :-)

    Don't mention it.

Somebody told me this trick some years ago. It is not the first time
that the menu disappears. Or was it in Thunderbird?

If you click on the menu icon on the toolbar you will see a question mark at the bottom of that menu.
Clicking on that will give you the options you are looking for.

Since nobody else has mentioned it:

Tap the ALT key. The usual menu will show up, so use "Help - about" as usual.

And then the menu bar will auto-hide until you tap ALT again.
