Default Install French Macintosh keyboard layout in opensuse 13.1

I use a Macally (third pary, not from Apple) usb keyboard with a French layout (I live in Belgium).
Now, in other distros (such as Linux Mint and other Ubuntu derivatives), during installation, there's an option to install exactly that layout (just select French (Macintosh) from the list).
In OpenSuse, however, there's only French with no Macintosh option, so I guess this is for a PC keyboard layout.

Anyone know how I go about this in OpenSuse ? Bear with me, I'm a newbie

TBH, I have no idea what's the difference between French and French (Macintosh).

But I do see the possibility to set "French (Macintosh)" in KDE's "Configure Desktop"/"Systemsettings".

So I would suggest to just set french during installation, and then change it to "French (Macintosh)" afterwards in KDE's settings. (if you want to use KDE that is, it should be possible in GNOME as well though)

The system doesn't really care about the specific layout of the keys. It only sees the codes each key sends.
So maybe it wouldn't even matter. But as I said, I don't know.

    Thx, I'll have a look.
KDE can be a little daunting for a linux newbie, but I figured I'd take the plunge and go for OpenSuse KDE rather than take the easy way out and go for Ubuntu
