Hello. I just installed 13.1 (64-bit) on my desktop and am getting no sound / audio. I installed it as a dual-boot with Windows and Windows has sound, so it’s not an issue with a broken speaker or anything. The computer still makes the beeps when booting up from the motherboard speaker, but am getting no sound from the regular speaker once openSuse loads up. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thnx
Is it possible you have multiple sound chips? Go to Yast and see if you can set up the hardware. There is also a test sound you can try . Also check that the volume control is not just set too low
