    Is gnome 3.12 going to end up in openSUSE 13.2? thanks

    about to ask this too, even still no news in opensuse mailing list. They must be working into this, the repo wouldn't be too long.
    The old yet working great Intel i5 4590 (Haswell), MSI B85M-G43, MSI GTX750Ti, Leap 15.2, Gnome 3.36 on 120GB SSD

    why opensuse 13.2? why not also for opensuse 13.1?

    Standard reason. New versions of packages are not back ported to replace
    already released versions unless a major security bug has been found and
    it would be easier to to release the updated package then to patch the
    existing package.
