    Default FTP for LAMP localhost??

Is it possible to use FTP (Filezilla) to transfer files back and forth to a LAMP localhost? if so, how?

    Cordially,

I'm just guessing : localhost has a 127.0.0.1 addr configure it on some not so standard port so you'd not mess it with smth else it should go

You would need to install and setup an FTP server for that.

I can't really help you with that, but you might want to have a look at YaST->Network Services->FTP. (install "yast2-ftp-server" if you don't see that module)
