Is there any particular reason you're not using the current openSUSE 13.1 kernel (3.11.10-7)? Can you roll back?

well, the kernel is updating quite often in Tumbleweed, I can remove the new kernels but how to avoid installing the new kernels in Tumbleweed?

and why the new kernels are not recognising the usb3 pen if the old was ok?

Probably by blocking updates in YaST....

That might well be called a "bug" - something to submit via bugzilla.

Ah, now I've noticed openSUSE 13.1 and Tumbleweed machines in your signature. Generally, you are advised to post such questions in our Tumbleweed forum:

    https://forums.opensuse.org/forumdis...919-Tumbleweed

Anyway, as Jim has already advised, check for existing bug reports and submit one if necessary.
