    Default openSUSE 13.1 resume from suspend session problem

    my laptop asus a46c with intel graphic card using KDE 4.12.3
    when i turn on again my laptop after suspend session (sleep) automatically by power management i see login screen background but i cant see login form where i can type my password. so i login to tty than and reboot my system so i can login again
    but when close my laptop lid (sleep) and open it again i can see login form. i can type my password

    how to solve my problem suspend session?

    Hi Lit,

    same issue here with 2 laptops. One Acer Travelmate 4001 (AMD Graphics) and one HP 635 (newer and AMD Graphics as well). For the Acer I was able to mitigate the Problem by switching off the Dim function in Power Management.
    But if the HP goes to sleep more, it wakes up properly, but I see only the Login-background picture.

    Have you tried to switch off the function that forces you to login after sleep mode (caution .. security issue!)?
