Laptop is a Dell M5010 (acquired approx early 2009), AMD Athlon II P320 X2 @ 2.1 GHz, 3 GB mem. Came from Dell with Win7, I installed openSuse in multiboot. Problem: 13.1 will not shut the machine down. Choosing ‘power off’ goes thru its scripts, and ends with:
reboot: System Halted
and the power button must be used to power off. Funny thing, the 13.1 live cd on the same laptop does correctly shut down. Embarrassingly, so does Win7.
