    Default KMail Images?

    Hi All,

    Last Thursday KMail stopped rendering images in messages. I.E. the hardware store flier shows description and place (no visible placeholder) for an article, same with Facebook emails, just names, no photos.
    I am running openSUSE 13.1 KMail 4.11.5
    Email setting are set to use HTML not plain text.

    Who has an answer to this 'mystery'?
    Thanks,
    SkylineDs

    Have a look in Kmail Settings - Security, see that kMail is allowed to resolve external references.

    If that's not changing anything, exit kMail and start it from a terminal window. The terminal window will show kMail's output, there may be a hint there.

    Kmail is set to resolve external references.

    This is the result of starting kMail in Konsole,
    kmail2(13897)/kio (KDirWatch) KDirWatchPrivate::removeEntry: doesn't know "/home/dick/.kde4/share/apps/messageviewer/themes/"
    kmail2(13897)/kio (KDirWatch) KDirWatchPrivate::removeEntry: doesn't know "/usr/share/kde4/apps/messageviewer/themes/"
    kmail2(13897)/kio (KDirWatch) KDirWatchPrivate::removeEntry: doesn't know "/home/dick/.kde4/share/apps/messageviewer"
    kmail2(13897)/kio (KDirWatch) KDirWatchPrivate::removeEntry: doesn't know "/usr/share/kde4/apps/messageviewer"

    /home/dick/.kde4/share/apps/messageviewer/themes/ is empty
    /usr/share/kde4/apps/messageviewer/themes/ shows 2 folders: example and example_fancy

    Any more suggestions?
    Thanks
