Default AutoCad 2004 on Suse 13.1 KDE Desktop

Has anyone figured a way to run AutoCad 2004 on Suse 13.1, with the KDE desktop. I did a search and the last post on the subject was in 2008. LibreCad is just not cutting it for me, Recon I'm too stuck in my old ways, or my brain is in overload trying to make the transition from Windows to Linux. I would consider changing to Ubuntu If I could get AutoCad to work. Thanks friends !

Try Wine, wine has gotten better at supporting windows apps.

Try BricsCAD, excellent replacement, very similar interface, same commands, etc. Not free, but native linux version is very reasonably priced. There are three flavors: Classic (like AutoCAD light), Pro (like AutoCAD 2004) and Platinum (with fantastic solid modeling tools).
I run the 64-bit V14 (beta, stable should be published in a few weeks). Stable V13 32-bit also available (runs in 64-bit oS with -32bit compatibility libs). Both run in oS 13.1/KDE4.

Back to AutoCAD, the last version I could run under wine was 2000, but not well. If you must use AutoCAD I'd recommend using a VM. I used to use vmware player with windows and the windows app I need. After BricsCAD, however, I could ditch AutoCAD entirely.

Additional possibilities are QCAD (a free version and an enhanced pay version) and Draftsight.
