Thread: Increase resolution of boot screen?

  1. #1

Default Increase resolution of boot screen?

Hi, my boot menu is too low res, I can only see the first part of the options. I'm talking about the menu where you choose either Windows or Linux to boot (assuming dual-boot).

Can the resolution of this screen be increased?

    Thanks

    Yes.
Use YaST->System->Boot Loader->Boot Loader Options to set the boot menu's screen resolution.
The default "Autodetect by Grub2" doesn't seem to work well with nvidia cards AFAIK.
