Duplicated taskbar application shortcuts, please help!

Hi, My taskbar displays every application twice, and it it very annoying. How do I get this back to normal ?
Help please.

Assuming this is KDE, then you have the task-manager widget running twice on the panel.
To solve this:
Right click in the Panel
(Click Unlock Widgets)
Click Panel Options -> Panel Settings
Now move your mouse cursor over the panel. You should see the task-manager twice, with a small item below displaying a X at the right, Click that X.
Next right click anywhere in an empty desktop and click Lock widgets.
Done.
