Default OpenSuse 13.1 - newbie question...please help me!

    Hi Everyone!
My name is Francesco and I'm learning to use Linux. My level is under 0!
I have a big problem because to connect to the Internet I use an external wifi adapter: TP-LINK WN8200ND based on chipset Realtek RTL8192CU.
This advice doesn't have linux driver and I don't know how to do.
In the web I have found several threads about it and I have tried to install the driver for the realtek chipset but obviously it doesn't work yet!
    Please...help me!

    Thank you so much
    Francesco

    Hi Francesco and welcome!

If there's no native Linux support for your external wifi adaptor, it's worth knowing that it _may_ be possible to use
inside openSUSE 13.1 but it's not going to easy especially if your level is under 0! It may be possible use the Windows
driver for this wifi adapter within Linux by going via ndiswrapper, but it's not easiest place to start learning Linux.
Is is essential now for you to have external wifi adapter working in Linux (with no guarantees that it will work) or do
you have another method of connecting at least until you're above level 0?

This is CLOSED and will be moved to Wireless.

BTW konsel, your thread title is next to worthless. It does not contain any key to what your problem is about. Thus many people will not even look at it.
