    Default Touchscreen Dell XPS 12-9Q33

I have trouble getting the touchscreen working on a dell xps 12-9q33

    uname -a
    Linux sheep-3.intern 3.11.6-lpss-4-desktop #4 SMP PREEMPT Thu Jan 23 21:57:14 CET 2014 x86_64 x86_6put4 x86_64 GNU/Linux

This is a recompiled kernel with the low-power subsystem enabled (lpss).

    xinput
⎡ Virtual core pointer id=2 [master pointer (3)]
⎜ ↳ Virtual core XTEST pointer id=4 [slave pointer (2)]
    ⎜ ↳ SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad id=11 [slave pointer (2)]
⎣ Virtual core keyboard id=3 [master keyboard (2)]
↳ Virtual core XTEST keyboard id=5 [slave keyboard (3)]
    ↳ Power Button id=6 [slave keyboard (3)]
    ↳ Video Bus id=7 [slave keyboard (3)]
    ↳ Power Button id=8 [slave keyboard (3)]
    ↳ Integrated Webcam id=9 [slave keyboard (3)]
↳ AT Translated Set 2 keyboard id=10 [slave keyboard (3)]
↳ Dell WMI hotkeys id=12 [slave keyboard (3)]

The touchscreen does not show up.
I found the following link the kernel at which supposedly supports the touchscreen but I could not isolate the relevant changes:
    http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa...daily/current/

    Any help appreciated.

Default Re: Touchscreen Dell XPS 12-9Q33

I did not manage to configure the 3.11 kernel.
Switching to the kernel of the day https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Kernel_of_the_day solved the problem. Touchscreen works out of the box. Unfortunately multi-touch for the trackpad is gone now. I'll start a new thread on this.
