    Default Parental Controls in VLC?

I used VLC to play DVD's from Netflix.

After having successfully watched many TV shows and movies including Iron Man 1 and Iron Man 2, Iron Man 3 would not play giving me a messages that parental controls were preventing the DVD from playing.

I can't find parental controls anywhere in the settings. Same problem occurred with the same movie on DVD from Redbox.

Problem appears to be solved using SMPlayer.

Any idea what the problem with VLC could be? Where I can disable parental controls?

Default Re: Parental Controls in VLC?

So Iron Man 3 is rated PG-13 and wouldn't play giving me the "prevented from playing by parental control setting in the player" message, but World War Z also rated PG-13 plays just fine.

Maybe the updates to VLC since I tried watching Iron Man fixed it.

    Just thinking on screen here.
