When I try to run the make utility I get this message. I am trying to play chess with crafty and I guess I need to compile the package.
Why do you think you need to compile it?
Just add the Packman repository (if you haven’t done so already) and install it from there.
Enter YaST->Software Repositories, click on “Add”, choose “Community Repositories” and add the Packman repo.
Then enter YaST->Software Management, search for “crafty” and install it.
You would need Packman anyway for Multimedia to work properly.
