Default Evolution, xfce and openSUSE 13.1 64-bit

I recently upgraded from 12.3 to 13.1 via zypper dup. When I start Evolution from a keyboard shortcut or from a panel launcher it hangs on trying to download emails from the server. If I start it from a command line I do not have this problem, although it seems to be unstable and sometimes crashes when I change folder. Has anyone else seen this or can tell me where to start looking for clues as to why this is happening?

    Thanks
    Nick

Default Re: Evolution, xfce and openSUSE 13.1 64-bit

I've now solved the major problem by doing a clean install. However, this has created a few minor problems, like having to re-do all my tweaks and not being able to install gksu (which seems to have died). Anyone know of a way to carry out specific operations as root without having to enter a password each time?

    Thanks, Nick
