    Default evolution to thunderbird

i am migrating a user from evolution 3.8.5 to thunderbird. They have quite a lot of folders, and would like to know how to go about moving them into thunderbird? I know evolution changed to maildir and thunderbird uses mbox, so how can this be done?

In my experience the best way to go is to create a new user account, copy Evolution's folders into it, and test the import. I've noticed that users loosing folders when created within the INBOX.
