Autofs of NFS slow after 13.1 upgrade - solved

After upgrading two desktops to 13.1 I noticed that access to nfs mounted home directories via autofs was causing delays of many seconds when any application accessed /home.

This has happened before: https://forums.opensuse.org/english/get-technical-help-here/network-internet/417367-autofs-slow-mounting.html

But the fix described there didn’t work for me under 13.1. Based on what was described there, what did work for me was to put** mountproto=tcp** in /etc/nfsmount.conf.

Posting this in case it helps others.

Thanks for this. I have no doubt others can benifit from your input here.
