    I'm having problems with Akonadi, it doesn't start:

    Do you have an ide what could be wrong? the problem appeared after upgrade to openSuse 13.1.

    Which version of openSUSE?
    And allthough KDE users may know what Akonadi is, other may wonder what this thread is about, thus mentioning that this thread is about KDE will also help people. In any case, the version of KDE might also be interesting.

    How did you upgrade?
    Did it work before the upgrade?

    Try to run "kbuildsycoca4 --noincremental".

    I've deleted the config files, run

    kbuildsycoca4 --noincremental
    , reboot Kde and now it works properly :-).
