Qlandkartegt -- USB -- Permission Denied.
Guys, just in case you come across this scenario in 13.1.
Qlandkartegt may refuse to connect to your Garmin gps usb device. You may get "Permission denied" while trying to connect to your Garmin USB port. I am sure you will find references to this problem if you Google it, but this worked for me.
Create a file in /etc/udev/rules.d
Name it 51-garmin-rules
Copy this rule into it
ATTRS{idVendor}=="091e", ATTRS{idProduct}=="0003", MODE="0666", GROUP="users"
Reload udev rules
udevadm control --reload-rules
Run Qlandkartegt
This worked for a Garmin Etrex VistaHCx and it took a couple of hours to problems solve.................as always ymmv.
And remember you do not want the garmin_gps module loaded. This is not required.
