No sound after upgrading from 12.3 to 13.1

The sound works perfectly in Windows and has also worked perfectly so far in Suse 12.3. Any ideas will be appreciated

Sorry, I do not know how you got this post composed like this, but this is next to unreadable. Can you please add some new lines on relevant places. And when there is computer output involved, please use CODE tags around it (the # button in the tool bar of the post editor).

Now I got the system working with Amarok, but with no other player (Vlc , Mplayer Sm Player). All the codecs are loaded so far. All is very strange

Try to turn PulseAudio on or off.
YaST->Hardware->Sound->Other->PulseAudio Configuration

This so much. I had sound issues, disabled pulse and now everything works as it should :slight_smile:

After dowloading the latest patches via Yast everythink works fine
