Thread: 13.1 KDE Live USB hang on boot

  1. #1

Default 13.1 KDE Live USB hang on boot

It just sits at "Writing superblocks and filesystem accounting information"
This is on initial boot of a live USB stick. Why would a live USB stick be writing a filesystem? Would really like to test the new opensuse, but can't even get the live USB to boot.

It has to create a virtual file system and I guess is hanging at that point

Did you check the check sum of the down load/ if not thee are instruction on the download page and expected values.

Yeah, I figured that's what it's doing. It never seems to get passed that point though. I don't really need persistent storage, I just want to test a couple things. Is there a boot option to tell it NOT to do that?

md5sum checks out just fine on the ISO.
