    Default Create Bootable installation USB

    Hello,
I know that we can use the iso2usb or similar tools in order to create a bootable USB from the installation iso.

However, I want to manually create a bootable USB based on the installation DVD ISO. I don't want to use UNetbit or LiveUSB/DVD.
Also, I want to use ext2/3/4 as the FS of the USB, not fat32.
    So, any links?

Then simply boot from the DVD, install on it instead of on the internal hdd, make sure the bootloader is installed on the USB disk.

You have the chicken and egg problem. If you have a DVD player and DVD boot disk, you should use it. If you have a running copy of openSUSE or Windows, I have instructions on making a bootable LiveUSB here:

Why don't you look at the openSUSE download page? The help is there.

Hint: it is neither fat, nor ext2/3/4. You have no choice there, the
devs already did the choice for you :-P

Hint2: unetbin destroys the openSUSE bootable stick.
