    Default How to use NetBeans+Tomcat with java from the Orcale in the openSUSE13.1 ?

    openSUSE13.1 - without java from the Oracle.

    How i can use Netbeans+tomcat with Java from the Oracle in the openSUSE13.1 ? (without change of JDK in opensuse by default)

    Any suggestions, please.

    I think you're asking how to leave the default JDK but then use the
    Sun/Oracle JDK specifically for Apache Tomcat and NetBeans. I'm pretty
    sure Tomcat has a configuration file where you can point to the JDK to
    use, and I would assume NetBeans is the same way, assuming you cannot just
    modify its startup script or override the JAVA_HOME and related variables
    for your user. Linux is happy having multiple JRE/JDK installs, and I
    usually do this by using things like Apache Tomcat in its own new install.
    For example:

    Extract Apache Tomcat to /home/myuser/pps/apache-tomcat
    Extract Sun/Oracle JDK to /home/myuser/pps/jdk-1.7_45
    Set Tomcat to use the JDK

    The nice thing about this is that I can mix/match all day long as my
    regular user and not worry about affecting the rest of the system. If my
    laptop was a multi-user server, the same could go for all other users.
