Default How to downgrade apache to 2.2 in 13.1?

    Hey there,

I just zypper dup from 12.3 to 13.1 and most everything seems fine. 13.1 upgraded my apache from 2.2 to 2.4. I'd like to downgrade apache back to 2.2. Is there anyway to do this?

    Thanks,

    Not easily.
You would have to compile it yourself.
Or you could try to install the 12.3 packages.

But why do you want to downgrade?
Do you have problems with 2.4?

    Hey there,

The problem I have is that zend server does not work with apache 2.4.
When I do an /etc/init.d/apache config test, here is the output:

    Code:
httpd2-prefork: Syntax error on line 180 of /etc/apache2/httpd.conf: Syntax error on line 103 of /etc/apache2/default-server.conf: Syntax error on line 3 of /etc/apache2/conf.d/zendserver_php.conf: Cannot load /usr/local/zend/lib/apache2/libphp5.so into server: /usr/local/zend/lib/apache2/libphp5.so: undefined symbol: unixd_config
    Thanks,

So have you compiled php/zend yourself?
Well, you have to recompile it against apache 2.4 then I think.

    Or try to update zend.
Maybe the latest version does support 2.4?
    6.0.1 didn't according to this:
Zend Forums • View topic - failed to install zend-server on openSuse 12.3
But the current version is 6.2.

I don't know anything about zend though.
Maybe you should ask in their forums as well?

Just a question: isn't zend sensitive to the php version used? I may be wrong but php in 12.3 was v 5.3 and now it's 5.4
