    Default Clear KDE4 desktop clutter

    openSUSE 12.3 32bit

My formerly clean and simple KDE4 desktop screen has been modified (inadvertently) so that it now displays icons of my home directory files and acts like a file manager. How do I disable that action?

    Thanks in advance.

You might have configured your Desktop as a Folder View.

There is another Thread in these forums how in previous KDE what you see is what was default, then there was a change that placed individual folders on the Desktop and someone asked how to set it the way you seem to see it now.
