Default Chrome + flash CPU usage

Hi, I've got openSUSE 12.3 with google chrome repository. I use it because I need pepperflash 11.8 (up to date). But when I run a game that uses flashplayer, I get a higher (57%) cpu usage than for example in Fedora. Using google chrome + flash alongside zypper makes my laptop quite slow. Is there a way to speed up the whole distro?
    Thanks

zypper is a package management tool. Zypper doesn't run when
    browser/flash runs

Try clearing your memory before running your "heavy use" app
Either reboot or use the tool I describe here
    https://en.opensuse.org/User:Tsu2/free_tool

But Flash in general is an ungodly resource hog. Turn off everything and close everything else except what you intend to run.
