Thread: OpenSuSE Tumbleweed & LibreOffice

    Default OpenSuSE Tumbleweed & LibreOffice

I installed OpenSuSE 12.3 and successfully moved to Tumbleweed. Loads of new packages, kernel 3.11, KDE 4.11, etc. All worked without a problem. Curiously LibreOffice remains at version 3.6. How do I get the latest release without borking my install? I'm afraid to install the .rpm from the LibreOffice website for fear of screwing my system up.

    Check Index of /repositories/LibreOffice:/Stable/openSUSE_Tumbleweed

    You'll find version 4.0.3 there.

This repo is referred in additional opensuse repositories.

P.S.: all additional repos (excluding OBS, I think) are listed in Additional package repositories - openSUSE

You got some (IMHO good looking) answers already, but basicaly, wouldn't you have had more chance for a Tumbleweed related answer in the Tumbleweed forum? And when this answer may now to your satisfaction, those visiting the Tumbleweed forum will not benifit from it.
