Wipe Drive, and Re-installed 12.3 - similar not identical problems reoccurred on the re-install. Seems there is a issue with version 12.3 on two monitor configuration (Display, Size & Orientation, Resize and Rotate your Display).

Note version 11.3 works with two monitors on an AMD laptop, and Intel laptop ( 1440 x 900 -internal, and 1920 x 1200 external-VGA ).

Version 12.2 works on my desktop, multiple monitors with no display problems, two monitors both VGA 1920 x 1200.

I prefer to test new versions of OpenSuse on my laptop before I upgrade my desktop.
openSUSE 11.3 has reached it's end-of-life long ago. You will find no updates, no recent desktop packages etc.

OpenSuse 12.2 works on my AMD laptop dual (two) monitors, as does 11.4. Version 12.3 does not handle two monitor for the following size (pixel) 1440 x 900 and 1920 x 1200.
