    Default Gnome Tweek tool will not open

    Hi, I just want to add a new them and that tool want open is there a nother software or how do i install themes from the Gnome thems website, please help thanks.

    Can't you do this with gnome-control-center as well?
    (don't know really, as I don't use GNOME)

    Hi thanks for the reply, gnome-control-center dose not have it, is there another software i can use sorry for asking im going to us google right now thanks.

    Well, but gnome-tweak-tool SHOULD run. At least it does on my KDE system.
    Do you get any output when you run it in a terminal window?

    To install themes you need
    ==>GTK shell theme and ==>GTK 3+ theme
    you may need to extract them and dump them into ~/.themes folder
    Then you can use tweak tool to change the theme
    Alternatively you can also use dconf-editor and edit schema
    org.gnome.desktop.interface
