Dolphin file manager, disk space

I’ve looked all over for it but can’t find how to display the selected devices capacity.

I was looking at a thumb drive and it shows 11 files, 400mb but I would like to know the capacity, like 8GB or similar.

Is there a setting in Dolphin to do this ?

Settings menu (wrench) - panels - places. Actually shows partition
sizes, not disk size; probably not a problem for a thumb drive.

If you click on

Settings —> Configure Dolphin -----> General -----> Status Bar Tab

You will find a box you can check to Show space information.

Dolphin will show the free space in the lower left hand corner with a
graphic to indicate the free space relative to the total space.

I originally thought that it shows the total space as well but after
looking at it I can see it is only the free space that is given.

Thank you Eric, that is exactly what I was looking for. Free space is fine, actually better.

Glad to help. I should have said “lower right hand corner” instead of
“left” but I never could tell my left from my right. :slight_smile:
