Default Black Screen on every Steam game

I got back to openSUSE after having to install Windows to complete a job.
Now, I decided to encrypt "/swap", "/var", "/tmp" and "/home", and every time I try to launch a Steam game it doesn't open or presents me with a black screen.
I could not find this issue on Google so I'm hoping the Terminal output can give some info on this issue before I'm forced to re-install everything.

    Code:
    Console output:

Found the problem: In-Game Community on. When it's off the problem doesn't happen. Now all I have to do is hope that Valve solves this.

Just a note if you need to run MS business/program apps (not game) I find Windows installed in a VM very useful. VirtualBox is very good and free.

I have used VBox several times as well as Wine, even though they're not even as close as the real deal.

BUT, I was referring to the actual Linux Native Client from Valve. This issue occurred only after encrypting the folders I said above. Or, it could happen when they're not encrypted as well, I didn't test this possibility yet.

Running Windows in a VM is very much the "real deal". It's Windows.

Seriously, I use Windows XP and Windows 8 in VirtualBox VMs every day for
    work-related tasks.

I'll grant you that my systems are a quad-core system with 6 GB of RAM,
and a hyperthreaded quad-core i7 with 8 GB of RAM, but with sufficient
memory allocated and hardware virtualization support enabled, the
    performance *is* bare-metal level.

What's more, it gives me the flexibility of using a common base image
with linked clones for test installs of software (something that my
current work actually requires). So if I need a bare-bones XP system to
test something, I just clone the base image and install.

You can't easily get that flexibility from a bare-metal installation.

I'll change my machine cfg so that it's more powerful than it is right now, but a few months back I had to model a few things for an Architect and couldn't do it on Vbox. Although I was able to install the program (Rhinoceros) I couldn't see the mouse on the screen, which rendered my plans impossible, I didn't have the time to guess where the mouse would be.

My Hardware isn't powerful enough for me to work on VM's, not to mention I didn't try to configure Vbox hard enough.

When I have a powerful machine I might consider using VM's

Well you do need lots of memory and you do need to install the guest additions. I run on 2 gig host with 512meg VM on an old 3200+ AMD system, You probably need at least a 4+ gig machine with at least 1 gig in the VM. ie you need to have the VM at lest as big as the recommended amount for the app. The additions will probably take care of the mouse problem. They are drivers for the virtual hardware.

Well, since I never used VM's other than to test OS's and viruses, it didn't pass through my mind that guest adds would take care off the mouse issue.
    My CFG is:

    Athlon II X2 250 @3.7GHz
    Corsair Vengeance 4GB DDR3 @1666MHz
    MSI 9800GT
