Default gwenview importer can not create temporary upload folder

Hi===I'm using opensuse 12.3. I just did a fresh install and when trying to upload pics from my camera through gwenview I get the error:

Gwenview Importer: Could not create temporary upload folder. Permission denied.

There seems to be a problem in gwenview :-

Following on from some posts on the gwenview-importer blog.
